Custer recently partnered with the Ada Hotel team to bring an exciting new boutique concept to life in the heart of Ada, Michigan.
In downtown Ada, a 36-room upscale hotel has opened its doors, offering a blend of comfort, luxury and local history.
This three-story hotel is more than just a place to stay; it incorporates elements of Ada’s past with meticulous detail, creating a unique experience for guests.
The hotel’s design was a collaborative effort, with OTJ leading the design specifications and Custer providing alternative solutions as needed, ensuring a cohesive and elevated aesthetic.
A highlight of the lobby design is the custom Studiocraft table, crafted as part of a special design feature by the architect team. This piece adds both elegance and functionality to the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere. The Moooi Horse Lamp is another unique and memorable piece, featuring a life-sized horse with a lampshade integrated into its design, adding a whimsical touch to the hotel’s decor. In addition, the array of products Custer offered throughout the space included Steelcase, Carl Hansen, West Elm, and OFS, along with a selection of commercial flooring options.
In the guest rooms, lounge and ancillary furnishings have been carefully selected to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the common spaces, including the lobby and atrium, feature stylish and functional designs that encourage relaxation and social interaction.
The opening of this boutique hotel is a big step for Ada. It’s a place where history and modern design come together.
Whether you’re from the area or visiting, Ada hotel welcomes you to explore the charm and warmth of its great village.
