As outpatient care becomes increasingly more common, Parkview Health partnered with Custer to bring their vision of a new three-story, 98,100-square-foot facility to life.
The solutions provided by Custer were designed to enhance the overall experience within the new Outpatient Center. The project included the creation of three inviting lobbies, a modern conference room, and private offices that offer both privacy and comfort.
Additionally, six large care team pods were developed to facilitate collaboration among healthcare professionals, while multiple staff breakrooms and touchdown areas were designed for relaxation and informal meetings. Specialty medical areas, including ED exam rooms, MRI and mammogram suites, pathology and lab spaces, and receiving/tool and tech areas, were carefully planned to meet the specific needs of medical staff and patients.
By working with a variety of product partners such as Martin Brattrud, Steelcase, and Versteel, Custer ensured that the space was furnished with the highest quality solutions tailored to the needs of both patients and staff.
This location marked a significant milestone for Parkview Health as it was the first to incorporate the Embold seating line in its waiting areas, showcasing a fresh approach to comfort and design.
This Outpatient Center was the first clinical space to feature an emergency department outside of Parkview Health’s regular campuses, highlighting their commitment to expanding accessible healthcare services.
The new facility also played a crucial role in the expansion of their Southwest campus, further solidifying Parkview Health’s presence and dedication to serving the community with the best medical care and facilities in Northern Indiana.
