Formula Boats faced a significant challenge with their office space, which had not seen an update since the late 1980s.
With a large portion of their workforce nearing retirement, the company recognized the need to revitalize their environment to attract and retain new talent.

This is where Custer stepped in to help transform their workspace into a vibrant and functional workspace.
Custer’s solution involved designing a space that reflected a modern, elevated aesthetic while capturing the essence of Formula Boats’ brand. The aim was to create a high-quality, beautiful space that both employees and customers could enjoy.

The new design included updated offices, state-of-the-art conference rooms, a design lounge, and a welcoming café area. These changes were not just about aesthetics; they were about creating an environment that fostered collaboration, innovation, and a sense of community among employees.
In partnership with Design Collaborative, Custer incorporated several products to enhance the functionality and appeal of the space. Height-adjustable desks and conference tables were introduced to promote ergonomic comfort and flexibility.

The Mackinac executive offices provided a sophisticated touch, while modern ancillary lounge furniture added a layer of comfort and style. This project is a testament to the power of thoughtful design in transforming a workspace into a dynamic and engaging environment.
