Located in the Heartside neighborhood of downtown Grand Rapids, Catholic Central High School worked with Custer to transform its building into a modern learning environment through furniture that supports student development, growth and success.

Custer equipped classrooms with mobile Steelcase Node chairs with work surfaces, rolling Steelcase Verb tables for seamless transitions between lectures and projects, standing Steelcase Thread power distribution outlets and additional student seating by Smith Systems.
Custer brought in furniture that supports a full range of learning and teaching styles while providing comfort for both students and staff.

Custer also provided furniture for the cafeteria and collaboration lounge including ERG booths, EKO lounge seating, Emeco stools and Sit On It cafeteria seating. This project is part of Catholic Central’s $10 million capital campaign for its downtown campus.
