Grant Recipient Research Featured in Scholarly Journal

Recipients of the Steelcase Education Active Learning Center Grant often gain attention for their work in the education sphere. In fact, Dr. Celeste Wheat, an educator at The University of Alabama (and a 2015 recipient) co-authored an article based on the school’s grant award that has been published by the Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

Dr. Wheat collaborated with Drs. Sun, Wedgworth and Hocutt to pen “Active university teaching and engaged student learning: A mixed methods approach,” which features images of the school’s Active Learning Center.
